James Anderson

James A. Anderson Andy James Allen Anderson, 74, passed away November 20, 2007 in Taylorsville, Utah. Born March 31, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Enoch Leander and Nettie Mae Brough Anderson. Married Dorene Owens February 14, 1959 in Elko, Nevada; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He was a meticulous craftsman who loved working with his hands, liked his tomatoes and working in his vegetable garden. He was the Worlds Greatest Dad! Survived by his wife, Dorene; sons: Michael (Denise) and John (Liz); 8 grandchildren: Amanda, Jennifer, John, James, Megan, Brianne, Brandon, Brittney; siblings: Donna Larsen, Thelma Overby and Jean (Robert) Wertz. Preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings. Funeral services will be held Monday, 12:00 noon at the Valley Park 3rd Ward, 2603 West 4700 South. A viewing will be held Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 10:45 - 11:40 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
