James Brown

James M. Brown 1914 ~ 2008 James Maurice Brown, 93, passed away July 24, 2008 in Ogden, Utah. Born December 27, 1914 in Blackfoot, Idaho, son of James and Elizabeth Valire Brown. Married LaNelda June Wright July 23, 1943 in Elko, Nevada; solemnized 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple. Member of the LDS Church. He was musically inclined and enjoyed entertaining and singing. Survived by wife, June; children: Debra June (Dennis) VanFleet, Gary Karl (Janet) Brown, Jamie Susan (Norman) Andersen and Danielle Ann (Jason) Tronier; 15 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the Lehi Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah and Tuesday, 9-10 a.m.
