James "Jimmy" Theodore Good, 73, of Duncan, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his home. Jimmy was born on November 12, 1942 in Morenci to Buford Earl and Polly Alma Good. He was the seventh child born to this union. Jimmy grew up and went to school in Safford and in 1959, he joined the Army and was stationed in Frankford, Germany. He came home in 1963 and soon after, met and married the love of his life, Miss Lillie Ann Parker. They were married on October 12, 1963 in Safford, AZ. They would have been married for 53 years this year. Jimmy and Lillie were blessed with two sons during this time, Ruben Theodore and Jesse West. Jimmy was not an idle man. He worked hard his entire life and also had many hobbies such as playing pool at the old pool hall on Main Street, fighting roosters, fishing, hunting, playing cards; in which he was always cheating but you could never catch him at it. He also made belt buckles, bridles and spurs. Jimmy was a kind and loving man to all. He always had a good outlook on life no matter how rough his day was going. He was always ready to greet you with a smile and hoped your day was going well. The goodness he displayed in his life will be missed by all. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Lillie, sons, Ruben and Jesse, grandchildren, Shane, Sean, Jesse James, and Jasmine (JJ), brothers, Robert and Jackie, sisters, Barbara and Cathy and a large number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Polly, sister, Violet, brothers, Earl Jr., Ed, and Alva Jake, three nephews and two nieces. A viewing for Jimmy will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 9 a.m. and funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Graham Cemetery.
