James Hernandez

James N. Hernandez, 65, of Safford, passed away on January 12, 2016 in Phoenix. He was born on March 19, 1950 in Safford, to Braulio and Rosa Hernandez.Jimmy graduated from Safford High School in 1968. He worked seasonal farm work and for TTT in Tucson as a car washer. He loved being with his family and dancing, fishing, and loved music. He was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, and Our Lady of Guadalupe.He is survived by his brothers, Frank (Carol) Hernandez of Solomon; Rick (Nordella) Hernandez of Solomon; and Rudy (Cindy) Hernandez of Chandler; and numerous nieces and nephews.Viewing will be at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Rosary will follow at 10:00 a.m. Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima. Interment will follow at the Safford Cemetery.
