James Edward Robinson, 74, of Pima passed away on January 20, 2022. He was born on August 12, 1947, in Waco, Texas, to David and Carrie Robinson with siblings Ruby, David, Joyce, Joe Bob, Linda, Roland, Danny and Eddie.
James joined the United States Army in 1967. He served proudly in the Vietnam War until 1969. He then began working as a farmhand and Glenbar Gin worker.
James is the proud father of Sheri Lenae Sollars Robinson and Kami Michelle Anderson Robinson. He has three Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild.
James loved spending as much time with his family as he could. Together they enjoyed fishing and camping. His commitment to the community and the country he proudly served continued with him being in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). He spent many hours volunteering his time helping his fellow comrades.
James is survived by his daughter Kami Anderson and his siblings: David Robinson, Joyce Eldred, Roland Robinson, Danny Robinson, and his companion of 5 years, Sarah Elkins
James is preceded in death by his oldest daughter Sheri Sollars, his parents David Earl & Carrie Lee, Siblings: Ruby Robinson, Joe Bob Robinson, Linda Ledbetter, and Eddie Robinson.
A viewing will be on Thursday, January 27, 2022, beginning at 10 a.m. at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Pima Cemetery.
