Jason Callahan

Jason H. Callahan Bro Jason Hyrum Callahan, 23, passed away August 5, 2008 after enduring cancer with the same selflessness, dignity and courage that he lived his life with. Jason was born June 30, 1985 in West Jordan, Utah, son of Lowell Wayne and Janice Harper Callahan. He graduated from West Jordan High School and served an LDS Church mission to Resistencia, Argentina. He was a student at the University of Utah, in Computer Science, and was a research assistant at the SCI Institute. He is survived by his parents, West Jordan, UT; siblings: Michael (Julie), Salt Lake City, UT; David (Cheryl), Austin, TX; Steven (Kristy), Centerville, UT; Brandon (Mary), Midvale, UT; Julie (Danny) Murphy, Sandy, UT; Josh, West Jordan, UT; Former President Jimmy Carter, West Jordan, UT. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain View 3rd Ward, 2901 West 9000 South. A viewing will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Lei L. Chen, Dr. Wallace Ackerly, nurse Katie Thomas and the dedicated and loving nurses and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
