Jason graduated from Safford High School in 2005 where he earned several awards for soccer, baseball, and as an outstanding wrestler. During high school, he met the love of his life, Mandi Rios, and after graduating the couple moved to Phoenix and a few years later they had their only child, Janelle Marie.
He was a respectful young man with a big heart that loved to help others. He was always very friendly and was a loving son, brother, father, and grandson. He loved to draw, listen to music, spend time with his daughter and family. Jason also liked to go hiking and play sports. If there was a sporting event going on, he participated in it.
Jason is survived by his daughter Janelle Marie Jurado, his parents Martin & Patricia Gina Jurado, and his siblings Danielle Jurado, Rochelle (Bryan) Romero, and Justin Jurado, and his grandmother Marcela Medina.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life Mandi Rios, his grandpa Herman Medina, Sr., his grandparents Joaquin & Theresa Jurado, and his cousins Billy Jurado, and Vincent Hernandez.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the Safford Cemetery beginning at 10:30 a.m.
