Jeanne Deverall Hill Together Forever Our sweet mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Jeanne Deverall Hill, passed from this life as softly as she lived on August 14, 2010. Born January 21, 1928 to Melvin and Afton Perkins Deverall and raised in Taylorsville, Utah. She was a graduate of Granite High School. She married William Joseph Hill in the Salt Lake Temple April 2, 1946. Although he preceded her in death, she is now reunited with her beloved Billy, never again to be separated. Their over 60 years of marriage was evidence their love remains everlasting. She was a member and had a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served faithfully in many callings that made her the wonderful, Christ-like person she is. With her many talents, including writing, painting, cooking and sewing, she always displayed her deep love of others and the beautiful world around her. Even as her physical abilities diminished, her willingness to care for others remained undying. She felt the hardest thing she ever did was nothing. She was the picture perfect grandma who thrived on her familys lives. Survived and loved by her children: Randy (Marva), Kevin (Sulyn), Hollie (McKell), Doug (Lori), Jed (Lynne), Russell (Tamara); siblings: Linda and David; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and relatives. Preceded in death by her husband; son, Greg; daughter, Heidi; grandson, Jackson; and brother, Richard. Though gone from this life, her love, memories and example live within our hearts and all those she touched as she gracefully continues on her eternal path. In celebration of her life, funeral services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2010, 12:00 noon at the Taylorsville Central Stake, 4950 South 1950 West. Viewings will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2010, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
