Jeramy Plumb, 42, of Chino Valley, AZ finished his battle with pancreatic cancer, succumbing to the disease on March 14, 2018. Jeramy was born in Show Low, Arizona on February 24, 1976 to Edwin and Brenda (Anway) Plumb. He grew up hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors he loved in Eager, AZ and the white mountains. After graduating from Round Valley HS in 1994, he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Arizona. While there he found the true passions of his life, Career and Technical Education and his wife of 20 years Shawna (Cloudt).
Jeramy taught Agriculture in Casa Grande, AZ and Chino Valley, AZ for the next 12 years while completing his Masters in Agricultural Education from The University of Arizona and a Master's in Education Leadership from Northern Arizona University. With these degrees, he felt he could change the lives of more students by becoming an administrator in CTE for first Chino Valley Unified Schools, and then as a founding member of the Mountain Institute Joint Technical Education District Staff. Jeramy was Superintendent of MIJTED at the time of his passing.
Jeramy and Shawna have three wonderful children, Tyler, Rachel and KC (Katherine) who are their pride and joy. Jeramy spent countless hours teaching them the joy of hard work, to love the outdoors, and most of all to be strong examples to others and true disciples of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Jeramy held many calling in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, from Blazer Boy Scout Leader to his last calling as Bishop of the Del Rio Springs Ward, which he was serving in at the time of his passing. He was remembered as a loving and compassionate leader who provided both strong and tender council to all he met.
Jeramy is survived by his wife, Shawna, children, Tyler, Rachel and KC, his mother and step-father, Brenda and Ted Slade, his brother Justin Plumb and his children Shyanne and Branson, as well as many step-brothers and sisters, Aunts, Uncles and cousins with their families.
Jeramy was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Plumb, and infant daughter, Dovie, as well as his grand-parents, Glenn and LaRue Plumb, and Roy and Betty Anway.
Jeramy touched the lives of many students, ward members and countless others in the time he was allowed in this mortal realm. His impact will reach many generations to come and his absence will be felt by those he loved and who returned his love.
