Jesse Silva, a gentle soul with a great sense of humor, left this world unexpectedly on November 18, 2024, at the age of 46 in Safford, Arizona. Born on February 24, 1978, in Silver City, New Mexico, Jesse was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He graduated from Morenci High School in 1996, and while many knew him for his dedicated work in maintenance at Taco Bell, it was his warm heart and compassionate nature that truly defined him.
Jesse was a passionate man, deeply devoted to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He lived with an authenticity that made everyone around him feel valued and appreciated. His kindness was palpable; he never spoke negatively about anyone and always found the good in others. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
His family will cherish countless memories of Jesse, from his joyful laughter to his playful antics, such as letting his hamster roam freely in their home—an unmistakable reflection of his light-hearted spirit. Jesse also loved indulging in video games, fishing, and basketball, hobbies that brought him joy and relaxation.
He is survived by his loving mother Melanie Barnes, step-father Jerry Barnes, father Jeremiah Silva, step-mother Bertha Silva, brothers Jason Silva and Orlando Garcia, and sisters Monica Quinones, Sharon Silva and Diane Lorenzo. He also leaves behind brother-in-law Joseph Lorenzo and his cherished nieces and nephews: Leesha, Laura, Joseph, Jennavecia, Jadzia, Janiyah, and Javen, all of whom will miss his warm hugs and genuine conversations.
Jesse is now reunited with his deceased family members, including his grandfathers James Ray Mohr and Elias Silva, and his grandmothers Marion Muse and Ethel Silva, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
A viewing for Jesse will be held on November 29, 2024, at Movement Church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Safford Cemetery. These moments will offer family and friends a chance to gather, share stories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched so many lives with his love and laughter.
Though Jesse has left this earthly realm, his light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.
