Jessie Marie Holguin On the afternoon of December 29, 2013 Jessie Marie Holguin passed away after a 5 year battle with cancer in Tucson, AZ. while in hospice care at the home of her sister. Jessie was the youngest of four daughters and was born in Safford, AZ on January 16, 1964 to Mike and Katy Holguin. She graduated from Safford High School. She played the trumpet and assisted the local VA representatives playing graveside taps. She attended U of A and ASU, later residing in Phoenix, AZ. She worked up the corporate ladder of Home Depot in Phoenix for 8 years. She then opened the first stores on the islands of Oahu and Maui as store manager. She later received her contractors license and was self-employed as a tile artisan. She was well known for her meticulous and artistic tile laying. She is survived by her Mother, Katy Holguin; Sisters; Mrs. Becki (Glen) Polcyn; Mrs. Judy (Dean) Richins; Nieces; Micah Snodgrass, Jennifer Dobson, and Paris Polcyn, and Nephew Grady Polcyn; Great-Nieces; Ava Dobson, Presley Polcyn and Great Nephews, Warner, Grayson and Miller Dobson, Tate and Tyler Snodgrass. Jessie is preceded in death by her Father, Mike Holguin; Sister, Dyan Holguin; Grandparents, Ralph and Jessie Garcia, Aunt, Emma Salazar and Great Nephew, Chandler Dobson. Jessie leaves behind her precious Chihuahuas, Deva, Little Bit and the latest addition Max, who will miss her love, treats, many trips back and forth from Phoenix and riding with her in her truck. The Rosary will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rosary will be led by Father Robert Rodriguez.
