Jesus Gordo Rojas Jr. In Our Hearts Forever Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Jesus Rojas, Jr. (aka: Zeus, Gordo, J.R., Uncle Gordo), passed away on October 10, 2007 surrounded by his family. Born July 22, 1972, Gordo fought a long courageous battle with cancer. He had a smile that was both innocent and contagious, a smile that had the affect of befriending anyone around him. He was a loving and caring uncle that supported his nieces and nephews in all that they did. It goes without saying that Zeus will be missed by a great many people. He leaves many broken hearts behind. He is survived by his parents, Elisa and Jesus; his brother, Carlos; sisters, Mirna, Araceli & Maritza (Cameron); grandmother, Leonor; nieces & nephews, Shantell, Anthony, Aubree, Stihl, Jacob, Easton, Bryce and Chase. Mass of Catholic Burial will be Monday, October 15, 2007, 11:30 a.m. at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South. A viewing will be held at the Church Sunday evening 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Services under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
