Joan Lysengen

Joan E. Lysengen 1934 ~ 2010 Joan Eileen Meagher Lysengen, age 75, surrounded by her family and Pastor, bravely passed onto her Lord and Savior February 25, 2010. She was born March 3, 1934 in Park River, North Dakota to Thomas Alexander and Margaret Lawrence Meagher. She married the love of her life, Lloyd Duane Lysengen February 19, 1953. She was an active member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. She was a great mother and wife, loved to travel, read books as well as a great storyteller. She is deeply loved and will be missed by many. Survived by husband, Lloyd; her children: Debbie Clark, Huntington Beach, CA; Jim Lysengen, Las Vegas, NV, Laura Lysengen, Salt Lake City, UT; David Lysengen, Huntington Beach, CA; brother, John Meagher; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Meagher. A celebration of Joans life will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 2700 West 5200 South. Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
