Joan Mann

Joan Elizabeth Mann 1944 ~ 2009 Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Joan Mann, age 65, passed away October 24, 2009. Born March 29, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Charles Bing and Helen Ivory Keachie Rowland. Mom loved family and was an exceptional cook, preparing meals for large gatherings. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mom was the ultimate bargain shopper, going from swap meets to yard sales. Besides her family, she loved working with special needs children and adults. She is survived by her children: Bodi (Ruth), Rick (DeeDee), Scott (Carleen), Shane (Matt), Jill and Troy; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: Steve (Barbara) and Rod (Chris). She was preceded in death by her parents. Special thanks to Fred for his devotion to our mom. A viewing will be held Wednesday, 12 - 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
