JoAnn Harrison Smith 1944 ~ 2008 JoAnn Harrison Smith, age 63, passed away on February 14, 2008. Born August 30, 1944 in Vernal, Utah, to Morgan Ward and Doris Bowden Harrison. Married Darwin Koyle Smith on April 17, 1965 in the Manti Temple. Enjoyed reading. She was a seamstress and made many Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for family and sold many as well. Active LDS, serving as Stake Missionary, served in Young Womens, Primary and Relief Society. Served as Ward Libriarian. Ward & Stake Dance Director with her husband. Loved teaching pre-schoolers at Hillsdale Elementary. Taught the family how to love unconditionally. She is survived by her husband, Darwin; children: Carrie (Denny) Wheeler, Cherrie Smith, Linda (Matt) Snell, Emily (Randy) Vaughn, Curtis & Heide, Keith & Trina and Jonathan; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Wayne, Trent and David Harrison; sister, Yvonne Linam. Preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Hunter 35th Ward, 3745 South 6400 West. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and from 9-9:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment, Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
