Joaquin Jurado

Joaquin B. Jurado, 69, of Safford, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 16, 1942 in Solomon, to Luis and Lucia Bejerano Jurado. Joaquin attended school in Solomon and Safford. He loved to Hunt, fish, play poker, sports, and loved to watch his grandchildren play sports. He was an active member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 12 pm at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Rev. Father Edward Lucero as celebrant. Viewing will be on Friday, January 20, from 6-8 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
