Joe Medina Lujan, 85 of Nuevo, CA, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, CA. Joe was born in Arizona in September 12, 1928 to Julian and Concepcion Lujan. He was a mason by trade for over 50 years and helped build all of the Southern California Stater Bros markets. Joe, along with his partner, Diane, used his masonry talent to build their home. Joe loved deep sea fishing and enjoyed nature and being outdoors. He was an avid LA Lakers fan. He served in the Air Force for six years. Joe enjoyed traveling and visited many states as well as Mexico and Alaska. He is described by his family as loving and kind. Joe is survived by his best friend and partner; Diane Lujan, daughters; Barbara Quiroz, Patty (Danny) Rodriguez and Eva Lujan, son; Frank Lujan, sisters; Lucy Lujan and Francis Hernandez. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Morenci. Following the memorial, please join us for a gathering to celebrate Joes life at his nephew, Orlando Lujans home.
