John Garrobo

John Joseph Garrobo, Sr., passed away in the early hours of August 15, 2019. He was born July 2, 1943 in Little Hollywood, Safford, Arizona to parents Paul Garrobo & Susie Olivaz Garrobo. John attended schools in the Safford area, graduating from Safford High School before attending Eastern Arizona College. He began working in the construction industry as a carpenter where he stayed the remainder of his life. He is survived by his children; John Joseph Garrobo, Jr., Donna Murrieta, Francine Garrobo, Sylvia Mastas, Paul Garrobo, Sr., Monica Fuentes, George Rios, Kayely Garrobo, Natalia Diaz and Carlos Garrobo. John is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church beginning with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 9:45 a.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m.
