John R. Hammond 1935 ~2009 John Ross Hammond, 74, passed away June 9, 2009 in West Jordan, Utah. Born February 10, 1935 in Riverside, California, son of Howard Aldus and Dorothy M. Nordin Hammond. Married Rita Louise Stephens August 8, 1983. He retired from the Jurupa School District in Riverside Ca. in 1992. He was a crossing guard for Jordan School District. Survived by wife, Rita; children: John Ross Jr. (Jackie) Hammond, Donna (Alex) Mares, Darin (Aleas) Boyd, Wendy (John) Wilson; grandchildren: Aaron Hammond, John Ross Hammond III, Kenny Hammond, Olivia (Matt) Robison, Alex Mares, Vienna (Robert) Goats, Jared Boyd, Chloe Boyd, Jordan Wilson, Haylee Wilson. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
