John Hurston

John Wesley Hurston, 29, passed away February 26, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Dale Clonts at the Church at Safford, Monday, March 7, 2011 at 4 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Wesley was born September 4, 1981. Wesley grew up in Safford, Arizona. He graduated from Eastern Arizona College Police Academy on May 12, 2007. He worked for the Surprise and Pima police departments, as well as Cochise County Sheriffs department. Wesley was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He spent most of his spare time with his family, always making special time for his son Gabe. Wesley leaves behind his loving wife Lisa Hurston, son Gabe Hurston, mother Claudette Medford, father John Hurston, sisters Catherine Hurston, Michelle Haumesser, Jamie Franklin and Penny Holmes, brothers Chris Franklin, Mike Hurston and James Hurston. Grandfather Wesley Bryce, also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who loved him. There is an account set up at the Safford Chase office, to help the family he left behind.
