John Keser

John Allen Keser 1954 ~ 2009 John Keser, 55, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at St. Marks Hospital with family. He was a devoted husband, playful grandfather, caring brother , kind uncle, thoughtful son, and compassionate friend to all who met him. John was born on July 7, 1954, the third of nine children to Harry and Martha Keser. At age eleven, John was diagnosed with diabetes eventually losing his eye sight, but not his spirit to the disease in 1977. In spite of being blind, John enjoyed life and always saw the best in everyone. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he served faithfully in many callings and had an unwavering testimony. John loved working with his hands. He worked at Utah Industries for the Blind for ten years and EFI Electronics for eighteen years. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; his sons, James, Scooter,and Josh; father, Harry; aunt, Bonnie; three sisters; three brothers, and his grandson, Jacob. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha and two of his brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 4, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS 24th Ward, 2976 West 4270 South. Viewings will be held Tuesday, 6-8:00p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
