John Prickett

John F. Prickett 1933 ~ 2008 John Franklin Prickett died peacefully in Salt Lake City on May 29, 2008, surrounded by family after a long struggle with emphysema. John was born in Cisco, TX, on October 3, 1933 to Cecil and Carlie Prickett. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1950-1955. He married Jolene Olsen in Las Vegas on March 12, 1956. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. John was a convert to the LDS Church, with a deep, abiding faith in his Heavenly Father. John is survived by his wife, Jolene; sons, Dennis and Jeff Prickett; daughters,Cindy (Chell) Winegar, Linda (Lu) Prickett; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Dan Prickett and Kay (Dave) Keller. Preceded in death by parents; siblings; grandson, Dustin Prickett and his special daughter, Paula Kay. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 2, 2008, 12:00 noon at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South 1700 West. Arrangements are being handled by McDougal Funeral Home.
