Jonathan Humphreys

October 27, 1956 — May 24, 2008

Jonathan G. Humphreys Nice to meet you, how do you like me so far? Jonathan Grant Humphreys passed away May 24, 2008. He was born October 27, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert B. and Wanda Grant Humphreys. Jonathan was a member of the LDS Church and graduated from Kearns High School. He married Vickie Howell and they had three wonderful children: Trent, Graham and Hillary. Jon worked for Chris and Dicks for 20 years. He later married Jennifer Cowand who he met while the two worked for Home Base. Jennifer brought two sweet little girls, Breanna and Sydnie, into their marriage and he cared for them like his own. Papa Jon was a die hard Packers fan, had a great sense of humor and was a friend to everyone. He enjoyed working at Lowes as a Millworks Specialist. The family would like to thank the Diston family and the Sams Club family for all of their love and support. Jon is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children: Graham and Hillary; stepchildren, Breanna and Sydnie; parents; brothers: Robert, Kenneth and his twin brother, Frank (Julie); in-laws, Sid and Jo Cowand; brother-in-law, Mark (Kate) Cowand. Preceded in death by his son, Trent. Funeral services will be held Friday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
