Jose Morales

Biography Jose Joe Morales, 84, was born and raised in Clifton, Arizona. He passed away from this life and entered into heaven on April 15, 2014. Joe was very active in the Community. He was a Maintenance Foreman at the Reduction Works for Phelps Dodge, a member of the Clifton School Board, Trojan Booster Club President, Little League Coach, Troop 34 Scout Master, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Catechism Teacher, Tour Guide for Phelps Dodge, Financial Chairman of the Bingo Committee for 12 years, Chairman of the Church Fundraiser for 6 years, helped to remodel the new Parish Hall, was head of the Church clean-up crew, a member of the Church Choir and the Spanish Choir, was the Singer in a Mariachi Band, was an avid Golfer and the Social Club President. He is survived by his Wife of 63 years, Alice, Daughter Kathy (Jose) Escobar, Sons: Joe (Gloria) Morales and David (Amanda) Morales, nine Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren, Brother T.E. (Angie) Morales and Sisters: Herminia Ruiz and Teresa Montez. Joe is preceded in death by his Son Alex Morales, Grandsons: Joseph and Angel Morales, Great-Granddaughter Camille Morales and Sister Esther Marquez. A viewing will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 10:00 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton, AZ. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
