JOE ANDERSON Joseph Paul Anderson passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. He was born August 17, 1971 to Diane Rud and Calvin Anderson in Colorado Springs, Co. At the age of 6 his family moved to Minnesota where he lived until graduating from Eden Valley High School. Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the Army, moved to Texas and spent the next six years in the service of his country, being trained as a surgical technician. After his Army discharge, he remained in the El Paso area for the next ten years. His skills as a surgical tech allowed him travel around the country, working short-term contracts at different hospitals. His job, along with his love of skiing, brought him to Utah in 1999, to work at Primary Childrens Medical Center. It is here that he met his future wife, Heather Collet, and they were married in November 2003. In March 2006 the joy of his life, Addison, was born. She brought him so much love and fulfillment. While pursuing his education at Salt Lake Community College, he changed his employment to University Hospital. This spring he was thrilled to learn he had been accepted into the nursing program. He loved skiing, snowboarding, biking and spending time with his family. He was especially proud of his new Harley Davidson motorcycle. Joe was a very out-going person and made friends easily. His tragic passing has touched so many lives and he will be profoundly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Heather and their daughter Addison Jayne (3); his parents Calvin & Arlene Anderson of Paynesville, MN and Diane Rud of Tampa, FL..
