Joseph Quinn

Joseph Charles Quinn (Joe), a life-long resident of the Gila Valley, was born on May 2, 1955 in Safford, Arizona to Terry and Sally Quinn, where he joined his siblings, Gretchen, Ted, and Jamie. He passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 67. Joe grew up in Safford and graduated from Safford High School in 1973. He went on to attend Eastern Arizona College where he obtained his AA in mining technology. Joe went on to work at Bingham Transfer & Storage. While working there, Joe met the love of his life, Patti, when he was on a move job where he moved her family into their new house when they moved to Safford. Joe and Patti married on September 14, 1979. Shortly after, they welcomed their daughter Melissa to their family. A few years later, their son Joey was born. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his family. He always had a project that he was working on and there wasn’t anything that he couldn’t fix. After 35 years with Bingham Transfer & Storage, Joe spent a short amount of time driving trucks for Bulk. He then went to work for Freeport, where he was a driller. Unfortunately, his time there was cut short when he had to take a medical retirement. Joe is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patti, his daughter Melissa (Kaleb) Dodge, son Joey (Abby) Quinn, grandchildren Kimberly and Emily Vovan, Mackinley and Mackaylie Quinn, and Lili Dodge, his sister Gretchen Quinn, and brother Ted (Suzanne) Quinn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Sally Quinn and brother Jamie Quinn.
