Josephine Aguallo

Josephine Delgado Aguallo of York Valley passed away in the early morning hours of December 2, 2020. She was born on June 29, 1932, in Morenci, Arizona to Victoranio Delgado & Concepcion Pompa Delgado with sisters Carol, Lilly, and Aurora. Josephine attended Morenci High School graduating in 1951. On May 29, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart Rodolfo Aguallo and together they were blessed with 5 children; Kathy, Rodolfo Jr, Raymond, Ruben, and Ronald. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, cooking, baking, and making ceramics. She truly loved to cook and enjoyed watching you eat. Her beans, sopas and tortillas were gold standard! She was a loving, giving, and compassionate person who always put others first. She was also a very religious and spiritual person who was understanding and forgiving. Josephine is survived by her children Kathy (Abel) Garcia, Raymond (Candy) Aguallo, Ruben (Rowena) Aguallo, and Ronald (Rosa) Aguallo, her sisters Carol (Jesus) Paez, and Aurora (Pete) Minas, 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rodolfo Aguallo, Sr. and her son Rodolfo Aguallo, Jr., her parents Victoranio & Concepcion Delgado, and her sister Lilly Barriga. A private family Rosary will take place on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a private family Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with interment in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family has asked for the publics' help with maintaining the social distancing guidelines.
