Josephine Barrera

Josephine Barrera passed from this earth, September 4, 2015. She was 100 years old. Josephine was born in El Vado, New Mexico on May 16, 1915. She resided in Arizona for 85 years. Josephine married Ernest Giles at the age of 15. They were married for 60 years. She was widowed three times. Josephine is survived by her only son, Robert Giles. She leaves two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and two nieces. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service for Josephine will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 301 E. Main St. in Safford on Sunday September 20, 2015. A visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the service will start at 2:00 pm.
