Josiah James Kouts, 25, of Safford, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was born on October 20, 1992, in Safford, to Jason Howard Kouts and Maria Nations Kouts.
Josiah graduated from Safford High School, Class of 2011. He married Lauren Goodenough in 2015. He moved to Paris, France in 2015. He was a true adventurist, he was a model, tour guide, and a chauffeur for many distinguished people flying into Paris. He moved back to Safford in 2017 and continued working construction with his father. He was always the life of the party.
He is survived by his parents, Jason and Maria Kouts, of Safford; sister, Montana Vawter (Orry) of Safford; brother, Austin Kouts of Safford; grandmother, Sharon Kouts of Safford; grandparents, Rick and Janet Nations of Thatcher; great-grandparents, Wesley and Betty Jo Kouts of Safford.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald James Kouts.
Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at the New Life City Church. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the New Life City Church, with Pastor David Chapman officiating.
