Joyce Bryant

Joyce Marie Hortt Bryant Bubbles Joyce H. Bryant passed away October 28, 2010 at the age of 80, But its okay. She was a friend to many and crafter extraordinaire. Joyce was the youngest child of Bessie Bowler and Dewey Hortt and was raised in Mesquite, Nevada. Married Harold K. Bryant in 1949 and sealed in the St. George Temple in 1954. She was the loving mother of five sons: Kenneth (E. Diane), James, Gary (Patricia), George (Jan), and Michael (Tammy). Grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 23. Survived by sister, Marjorie Fenstermaker and brother, Lorin Bud Hortt. Preceded in death by parents; husband; son; sisters, LaVerne Leavitt and Jeanne Hortt; brother, Robert Hortt. As a family we express our thanks to the Oquirrh Dialysis Center, the Salt Lake County Aging Services and Legacy Village Care Center for their tender care of our mother. These people became her treasured friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of these services. Funeral services will be Monday, November 1, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at the West Point Ward, 5180 West 4700 South. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and at the church from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Graveside service 4 p.m. in the Cedar City Cemetery.
