Judith Forgach

January 20, 1973 — March 17, 2025

Judith Marie Forgach, lovingly known as Judy, was born on January 20, 1973, in Bisbee, Arizona. With a gentle spirit and an infectious warmth, she graced this world with her kindness and compassion until her passing on March 17, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Judy’s time among us, though brief, is filled with memories of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those around her.

Judy was a proud graduate of Safford High School, earning her diploma in 1991. Her professional journey brought her to the Postal Service, where she served as a clerk at an Air Force base. In her career, as in life, she embodied a spirit of service and dedication, always willing to lend a helping hand.

At the heart of Judy’s life was her deep love for her family. She poured her heart into being a devoted mother to her daughter, Jamie Helen Angle, and her nurturing nature extended to those in need. Judy had a remarkable ability to comfort others, often staying the night with friends and family in the hospital so they would not feel alone. Her huge heart was evident to everyone who knew her.

Judy's personality was nothing short of enchanting. She was known for being kind, sweet, compassionate, and humble—a gentle soul who made a significant impact on all who crossed her path. Beyond her nurturing spirit, Judy had a joy for music and dancing that was contagious. Whether it was singing along to her favorite tunes or dancing with abandon, her love for the arts added a beautiful layer to her life.

Judy's legacy lives on through her family. She is survived by her beloved mother, Irene Marquez Forgach, her cherished daughter Jamie, and her loving sisters, Lucy Sloan, Cynthia DeMarcus, Theresa Peck, and Mary Payne. The heartache of her passing is shared by her pet dog, Xena, who was undoubtedly a constant companion and source of joy.

Judy is preceded in death by her father, Ernesto Roberto Forgach, MD; her beloved brother, Ernest M. Forgach; and her grandparents, Henry G. Marquez, Sr. and Lillian P. Marquez. They welcomed her into their arms with the same love and warmth she offered to others throughout her life.

A celebration of Judy’s life will take place on April 4, 2025, beginning with a Rosary at 9:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Parish in Safford, AZ, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM. Following the Mass, Judy will find her final resting place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Clifton, AZ during an inurnment service at 12:30 PM.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Judith Marie Forgach, let us remember her laughter, her kindness, and the profound love she shared with everyone around her. May her spirit inspire us to carry forward the compassion and joy that she embodied so beautifully.
