June Rhea

June M. Rhea, 76, of Safford, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010 at her home in Safford, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 27, 1933, in Williams, OK, to Oliver Wilson Martin and Louise Adkisson. She married Milton T. Rhea on July 10, 1948 in Lordsburg, NM. June worked as a bookkeeper at Warehouse Furniture for many years, and a wonderful mother, wife, and homemaker for her family. June enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and crafts. She is survived by her husband Milton of Safford; one daughter Jackie (Gene) Bell of Safford; and two grandchildren Russell (Amber) Versteeg of Phoenix, and Jaime Versteeg of Mesa; six great grandchildren Janae, Jaiven, Ethan, Austin, Brianna and Ashley. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am. , Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel, 112 East Main Street, Safford, with Dr. Phil Tutor officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
