June Stalder

June Stalder, 80, passed away at her home in Safford on March 24, 2010 after battling with merkle cell cancer. June was born in 1929 to Bonnie G and Elmer D Imel. June worked for DES for many years and as a crossing guard for the grade schools. She is survived by her loving sister Joyce Hartung, who has cared for June the last several months. Also surviving are three brothers Dwight, Bill and Keith Imel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Walker and their son David. Surviving are her eight sons and daughters: Bonnie & John Newman, Ada & Dick Carpenter, Ted W & Giesla Stalder, Mary Joyce and Allen West, John E & Tammi Stalder, Kyle & Bonnie Stalder, Fess Stalder, and Michael Stalder. Part of Junes legacy are her 34 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services at the Church. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, March 29 at 1 p.m. in the Solomon LDS Chapel. Concluding Services will be in the Thatcher Cemetery.
