Kara Sue Sisto, of San Carlos, Arizona, passed away in a traffic accident at the age of 36. She was born January 9, 1983 in San Carlos to Willard Demus Sisto & Karen Rose Astor with sisters Cherilyn & Roseria.
She graduated from San Carlos High school in 2001 and in July of 2015 she received a Certificate of Excellence in the medical assistant field from Arizona College and was currently in training to become a heavy equipment operator for the mine.
Kara loved to cook, being at family gatherings surrounded by her friends, dancing and encouraging others. She was always a positive roll model for her friends and family. She was outspoken, outgoing, helpful, encouraging, kind, courageous, thoughtful and spontaneous. Kara was also a "Grandmother" to her nieces 3 children, Teliyah, Treyson & Marley, whom she loved very much.
She is survived by her loving mother, Karen R. Sisto, her sisters, Cherilyn Sanchez and Roseria Astor and her 3 grandchildren, Teliyah, Treyson & Marley, nieces & nephews, Roshell Victor, Theresa, Emilliano, Autumn, Karly, Emica & Precious Sanchez, her aunt Kathy Jones and Uncle Evans "Manny" Sisto.
Kara was preceded in death by her father, Willard Sisto and her grandfather, Eugene Astor.
A Wake will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. at the Sisto residence with the funeral services on Saturday, May 18th at 1:00 p.m. in the Burdette Hall in San Carlos, Arizona. Interment will be in the North Gate Cemetery.
