Karen C. Fautin Grandma Karen Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and all around practical joker, died peacefully, surrounded by her loves ones, December 15, 2008, still with her cute personality. Karen was born February 16, 1940 to Thelma and Jack Cavender. She spent all of her life in the West Jordan area, graduating from Jordan High School. She married her sweetheart, best friend and eternal companion, Thomas Christian Fautin, August 21, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they were blessed with three children: Tammie, Scott and Charri. Karen was the spunkiest, fun loving, talented person who could sew circles around anyone. She adopted all children as her grandchildren, always having a special treat for the. All the children called her Grandma Karen. Survived by her son, Scott (Debbie) Fautin; daughter, Charri (Evan) Jensen; son and daughter-in-law, Randy (Rayma) Stohel; sister-in-law, Jane Cavender; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild (with two on the way). Preceded in death by her husband; and daughter, Tammie. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the River 6th Ward, 7350 South 1300 West. Viewings will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
