Karl Skaggs

Karl L. Skaggs, 78 of Safford passed away April 16, 2011 at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be conducted by Bishop Payne at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Safford LDS Stake Center, 501 Catalina Dr. in Safford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery with military honors provided by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard. Karl was born May 10, 1932 in Los Angeles, California. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for many years as a telephone installer. He is survived by his wife Donetta Skaggs, sister Joy Barringer, daughters Karla Golding & Marnie Tea, stepchildren Lorri Taylor, Terry Humphries, Phillip Humphries and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
