Katherine Dixon

Katherine "Kat" Dixon, 59, of Safford, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Kat was born in Globe, AZ on Feb. 6, 1954 to Callis & Gloria Dixon. Known to many as Mama Kat. Kat was a kind, generous, loving soul. She never turned away a person or animal in need. Kat had many interests that took her all over Arizona, from horseback riding & her love of motorcycles, to her wonderful artistic abilities. Kat is preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Ballentyne of Sierra Vista and Becky Dixon of Pine Top, AZ. She was survived by her three children, sons; Timothy Callis Roll, Chauncy Lee Dixon, daughter; Jessica LynAnn Dixon, her parents; Callis & Gloria Dixon of Sierra Vista, as well as two sisters; Sandy Thrasher & Cally Dixon. A Memorial service for Kat will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5 at the Mt. Graham LDS Chapel with Bishop Clay Hargis officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Arizona Cancer Society.
