Our beloved Katheryn Starcher, a devoted teacher, passed away on December 14, 2023, in Safford, Arizona. She was born on September 29, 1934, in Gravel Bank, Ohio. Katheryn's remarkable life and everlasting impact on her students and the community will forever be cherished.

Katheryn's passion for education shone brightly throughout her career as a teacher. Armed with a Master's Degree in Education, she dedicated her life to shaping young minds and instilling knowledge in her students. Born Katheryn Briggs, she grew up under the nurturing care of her parents, James F. Briggs and Beula Gessel Briggs. They nurtured her compassionate nature and taught her the importance of kindness towards others.
