Kayden Mitchell

February 11, 1996 — May 28, 2008

Kayden Marvin Mitchell 1996 - 2008 Our beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and uncle, Kayden Marvin Mitchell, peacefully returned to his Heavenly Fathers open arms on May 28, 2008. He was born February 11, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah. His days had always been spent surrounded by his loving family and friends. He has touched all of us in so many ways throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Kayden loved bike riding (the last thing he did that day), BYU athletics, four wheeling, swimming, ice fishing, snowmobiling, playing basketball, soccer and spending time with his nephew and niece. He loved going up to the family cabin where he enjoyed playing capture the flag, throwing rocks in the river, playing at the park, and anything he could do with his family. He was also a great example to everyone around him and created many lasting memories. Kayden was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was ordained a deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood. He had received his Arrow of Light award, earned his first class in scouting and was currently serving as vice president on the student council at Jim Bridger Elementary. Although we will miss him every day, he will forever remain in our hearts. Through his great example as a child of God and his warm and loving smile with those contagious dimples, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to know him. Kayden is survived by his loving parents, Randy and Donnette Mitchell; siblings, Aubrey (Quin) Young, Brittany Mitchell, Randy D. Mitchell, Kirstin (Cameron) Jenkins, Camille Mitchell, Brandon Mitchell, Janelle Mitchell, Candice Mitchell and Nicholas Mitchell; nephew, Treydon; niece, Ashelyn; grandparents, David and Venita Mitchell, Don Lloyd, and Keith and Carol Ann Ludlow; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 31, 2008, 12:00 noon at the Oquirrh 6th Ward, 6667 South Clernates Drive (5300 West). There will be a viewing at church Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m. Under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates. Thank you to the Primary Childrens Staff for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at America First Credit Union under Kayden Mitchell Memorial Fund #9034240.
