Keith Lynn Roberts 1944 ~ 2008 Keith Lynn Roberts passed away peacefully April 17, 2008 surrounded by his family. Born September 17, 1944 in Richfield, Utah to Garth and Ilene Roberts, he was the third of seven children. He was raised in Antimony, Utah and graduated in 1962 from Piute High School, Junction, Utah. Married LaRene Holgate, August 2, 1962, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He was an avid fisherman and archery hunter. He loved rodeos, especially bull riding, and he never felt dressed without his cowboy hat. Pop was the worlds greatest baby tender (not just a sitter, but a tender). Most of his 15 grandchildren spent their early years in his arms or sitting on his lap watching Nascar and bull riding and even Barney. He loved his grandkids, and they loved their Pop and will miss him very much. Survived by his wife LaRene and their eight children: Veronica (Chad) Pehrson, So. Jordan; Greg (Tina) Roberts, Taylorsville; Sandra (Todd) Plaga, So. Jordan; Wendy (John) Hermeling, Clarksville, TN; Holly (Mark) Cheney, Olympia, WA; Linzi (Chris) Peleschka, Murray; Kenyon (Sabrinah) Roberts, Heriman; Craig (Amber) Roberts, Murray; 15 grandchildren; Brothers: LaRell , Junction, UT; Ken, Antimony, UT; Sisters: Elaine Tebbs, Richfield, UT; Darlene Evans, Panguitch, UT, and Kim Adams, Anabelle, UT. Preceded in death by his parents and older brother LaVere . Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 22 at 12:00 pm, at the Millcreek 8th ward building, 4600 So. 600 East. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 So., arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
