Kenneth William Potter, 54, unexpectedly passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home in Apache Junction, AZ. He was born June 13, 1963 in Safford, AZ to Kenneth B. & Nelda Potter.
He is the youngest son of four children born to Kenneth and Nelda. The family moved between Safford and Morenci, finally deciding to settle in Safford. Kenneth attended Safford schools and after graduating from Safford High School, he moved to Apache Junction where he lived until his passing.
In his younger years, his love for animals led him to work at a pet store where he cared for parrots, turtles, dogs and cockatiels. He was in all his glory teaching the birds to talk. Among his many hidden talents, Kenneth had the knack to fix and repair things. His most recent job has been working as a general laborer for a home repair business.
Kenneth has touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by all of those who loved him.
Kenneth is survived by his mother Nelda Potter Payne of Las Cruces, NM, his sister Diane Wilson of Haddam, KS and brother Richard Potter of Buckeye, AZ as well as several nieces, nephews, Aunts and Uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth B. Potter and his sister Cynthia Potter.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Virden Cemetery in Virden, NM. Friends and family are invited to come and share their memories of Kenneth at the service.
