Kent Jorgensen

Kent J. Jorgensen 1922 ~ 2007 Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Kent J. Jorgensen, age 85, passed away December 28, 2007. Born in Jensen, Utah on May 28, 1922, Kent attended schools in Vernal, Utah and the University of Utah. He served proudly in the United States Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict, and retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. Following his military service, Kent was employed by Chevron Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 1984. He was a longtime resident of Concord, California. Kent is survived by his wife, Meridene; sons: Todd, Alan and Craig; grandchildren: Kirk, Angelica, Addison, Clark, Karlie, Dane and Colton; step-grandchildren: Jacob and Chelsea; sister, Nina, Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by his son, Brad and grandson, Connor. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 7, 2008, 12 :00 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held Sunday, January 6, 2008, 6 - 8 p.m. and again Monday, 11 - 11:45 a.m. Interment will follow in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
