Kent Warr

Kent Carlisle Warr 1952 ~ 2007 Kent Carlisle Warr, 55, passed from this life on September 27, 2007, from complications of C.O.P.D. He was born April 6, 1952, the seventh child of John M. (Pete) and Hazel E. (Betty) Warr. Greeting and welcoming him to the other side, are our parents; brothers Milt Warr, Gene Warr, and Kim Warr; and our sister Cindy Mecham, as well as his two nieces, Rochelle Rae and Melody Medau, and grandnephew Brandon Bateman. As we grieve, those who left before us are celebrating his homecoming, and we take solace in our individual faiths that Kent has returned to a place where there is no more sickness or disabilities, just plenty of baseball. Kent was a very loyal, loving, giving and forgiving brother and uncle. He was also a great-great uncle to the grandchildren of his closest niece, Becci. He loved his family unconditionally a remarkable trait. He was passionate about music and movies, and was exceptionally creative. Kent wrote several books- just because he could, and fashioned many card games that were devoted to his love of baseball. Those of us who survive Kent in this life are sisters, Sheila Shaw (South Jordan, Ut), and Linda Magro (Houston, Tx), brothers, Mike Warr (Ut), Doug Warr (Phoenix, Az), and Pat Warr (SLC, Ut), as well as his numerous nieces and nephews. Services for Kent will be Tuesday, October 2nd at McDougal's Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Rd. The family viewing will begin at 9:00 am, and friends are welcome beginning at 10:00 am. Funeral Services will start at 11:00 am.
