Kim Hayes

K. Joshua Hayes 1982 ~ 2008 Our cherished and precious son, brother, fianc and friend, has finally found the peace that eluded him much of his short life. He bravely fought the disease of addiction and died at over 60 days of being clean and sober. He put up a valiant fight against the debilitating depression he suffered with and wasnt able to overcome. He had a light in him that was always shining brilliantly that was extinguished much too soon. Nobody on this earth had a bigger heart or greater capacity for love than our Josh. He graduated with honors from Cottonwood High School, where he met Becca, the love of his life. They were to be married in September. Some of Joshs happiest times were spent with Becca and we are all so grateful for the love she freely gave him. He is survived by his father, Kim; mother, Lisa; brother, Geoff; sister, Ashley; as well as his Grandma Muriel; Grandpa Hayes; Grandma Kathy. His two pets, Buddy and Bill, will miss their true friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved Great-grandfather Laney, as well as his wonderful Great-grandma Hayes; his sweet cousins, Mikey and Kaitlyn. Everyone whose life was touched by Josh will miss him deeply. Go home and be at peace, sweetheart. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
