Lance Dean Hyatt 1948 ~ 2008 Lance Dean Hyatt, 59, died January 26, 2008 in West Valley City, Utah. Born October 14, 1948 in Worland, Wyoming, son of Samuel Wesley and Margaret Violet Fester Hyatt. Married Joy Annette Bence July 11, 1981 in Billings, Montana. Member of the United Methodist Church and life member of Disabled American Veterans. He worked in janitorial services at Salt Lake International Airport for 12 years and at the Billings Sheltered Workshop in Billings, Montana. Survived by wife of 27 years, Joy; sons: Eric and J.W.; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; mother, Margaret; sister-in-law, Sheila; mother-in-law, Patricia Bence; brother-in-law, Paul Bence. Preceded in death by his father, Samuel Wesley Hyatt and father-in-law, Robert H. Bence Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, 8:30-9:15 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans, 9969 South 2270 East, Sandy, Utah 84092.
