Laura Provencio of Clifton, Arizona passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 65. She was born on January 8, 1955 in Morenci, Arizona to Ernesto & Erlinda Provencio joining her brother Manuel and her sister Mary.
She spent her younger years attending the Arise program and this is where she learned many life skills and made lifelong bonds with her friends. Laura was the mother hen and was always looking out for everyone. As Laura grew older, she enjoyed spending her time at home. She loved watching soap operas and cowboy movies. She loved having her friends and family over to visit, she loved having company and would always make them feel so welcomed. Her favorite sayings were "Hi friend, I love you, How are you my friend, and Me happy."
Her hobbies included: watching TV, playing cards, puzzle coloring, and visiting with friends and family. Laura also participated in the Special Olympics and was a great bowler and earned many medals for it. She was always so proud when she brought home a new achievement. She had great sense of humor and always made us laugh. She also loved telling her stories. She had a personality all her own! She was very head strong and very opinionated. She was never afraid to let you know how she felt. She was such a loving, caring, and giving person who had a heart of gold.
Laura is preceded in death by her parents Ernesto & Erlinda Provencio, and her sister Mary Farrell.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020, beginning with a viewing at 9:00 followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 10:00 and the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Duncan. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery following services.
