Lawrence Larry Taylor 67, of Mesa, AZ passed away December 8, 2012 in the comfort of his wife and children. Larry was born on February 6, 1945 in Oakland, CA to John and Helen Taylor. He attended the University of Arizona and was in sales for over 40 years before retiring in 2009. During his retirement he became involved in the Knights of Columbus and worked at Hope at Christ the King Catholic Church. Larry loved to make people laugh and enjoyed helping people. He went on to become a school bus driver in 2011 at Chandler School District until his decease. Larry had many hobbies including camping, fishing, and travel. Larry leaves his beloved wife Becky of 35 years, sons A.J. Taylor (Traci) and Marc Taylor, three daughters, Carla Ornelas (Eric), Laura Taylor, and Jennifer Young (Zach), six grandchildren, T.J. and Jake Taylor, Kaylee and Taylor Ornelas, and Lilah and Everly Young. He is also survived by his uncle, Judson Merriman and numberous cousins, nieces, and nephews. The viewing will be held Thursday, December 13th at 11 AM at Bunkers Garden Chapel, 33 North Centennial Way in Mesa, AZ, Rosary to follow at 12 pm. Mass will follow at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1551 E. Dana in Mesa AZ at 1:30 pm. Memorial gifts in Larrys memory can be made to Hope at Christ the King Catholic Church. Arrangements are being handled by Bunkers Garden Chapel.
