Lenore P. VanderLinden 1943 ~ 2009 Lenore Parker VanderLinden, 66, of West Jordan, UT passed away peacefully in her home on September 16, 2009 after a courageous 14 year battle with brain cancer. Born March 18, 1943 in Payson, UT to Byron Harper and Lena Nora Bishop Parker, the youngest of six children. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and an older brother. Lenore was married to Russell VanderLinden from 1970-1998. She enjoyed growing up in Payson and loved the years she spent at BYU where she earned a teaching degree. She later served an LDS mission to England and taught Home Economics and English for many years. Lenore loved to play the piano, travel and had a passion for reading. Lenore is survived by her 4 children: Nichole (Robert) Pincock, Idaho Falls, ID; Michele (Holland) Fabela, West Jordan, UT; Nathan VanderLinden, West Jordan, UT; and Justin (Miriam) VanderLinden, Riverton, UT;10 grandchildren; 4 older siblings: Virginia (Karl) Moore, Lehi, UT; Maxine (Stan) Cook, Midvale, UT; Don (Karen) Parker, Snowflake, AZ; and Wayne (Jeanette) Parker, Price, UT. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:30am at the Heritage 10th Ward, 7645 So. 3200 W. Viewings will be held Sunday, 6-8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 9:30-10:15am. Interment, Payson City Cemetery.
