Lilly Barragan

Lilly D. Barragan, 83, of Solomon, entered into rest on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her home in Solomon, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 29, 1929 in Silver City, NM to Gregorio and Rita Delgado. She married Rudy M. Barragan on May 4, 1947 in Silver City, NM, they were married over 66 years. Lilly moved to Solomon in 1956. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a believer and love to read her Bible and listen to spiritual music. She is survived by her husband, Rudy Barragan of Solomon; sons, Gilbert (Rev. Edilia) Barragan of Solomon, and Rudy (Betty) Barragan of Solomon; daughters, Linda (Daniel) Escobedo of Solomon, and Alice (Ruben) Miranda of Solomon; siblings, Jeff, Adolfo, Alena, Angel, and Terry; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; father; brothers, Albert and Ruben; and grandson, Brandon. A Memorial Celebration of Lillys life will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Desert Springs Fellowship Church located at 425 E. 4th Street. Family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon at the church following the services.
