Linda Bowman

Linda Marie Clifford Bowman, 64, passed away on June 3, 2011, at University Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona. She was born on October 21, 1946, in Safford, Arizona, the oldest child of Clarence Nyle Clifford and Alice Marie Knudsen Clifford. She married Larry Richard Bowman on June 6, 1968, in the Arizona Temple. Larry and Linda, both raised in Safford, Arizona, and have been residents of Hereford, Arizona for the past five years. Linda is survived by her husband, Larry, her children Laura Marie Bowman Jones (Bryson Mark Jones); Melissa Jewell Bowman Schubert (Jason Chad Schubert); Kristen Ane Bowman Decker (David Michael Decker, Jr.); Amanda Lee Bowman Jones (Layne Mark Jones); Jason Emery Bowman (Margaret Alyse Abbot), and Nathan Richard Bowman (Maggie Lynn Zehringer). She is also survived by her sister Joyce Clare Clifford Maxson and her brother Donald Nyle Clifford, grandchildren and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2011 at the Safford LDS Stake Center, 501 West Catalina in Safford, Arizona. A viewing will be held at the church from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2011 and one hour prior to services on Thursday, where friends and family may call. Interment will follow services at Safford Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations may be made to Unity for Life Tucson, PO BOX 89782, Tucson, AZ 85752. The purpose of the Unity for Life Fund is to assist heart and lung transplant patients and their caregivers who are in financial crisis. All donations will receive a receipt and are tax deductable.
